The Journey of Lilje Marguerite...

As I share the story of how Lilje Marguerite came into being, it becomes clear that while there’s one defining moment, the inspiration, dedication, and passion that fueled its growth stretch back decades. But let’s start at the beginning of this beautiful journey…

Lilje Marguerite was born during the summer of 2022, a time that would forever change my life. My mother had been battling health issues for some time, and watching her struggle had a profound impact on me. On June 17th, 2022, she was admitted to the hospital, a moment that immersed my family and me into a whirlwind of emotions as we witnessed her brave fight against an unforgiving illness.

A few months prior, my daughters and I had discovered the joy of beading as a fun rainy-day activity. From the very first moment, I was captivated by the art and creative process, finding a meditative solace in jewelry-making that would become my refuge during life’s tumultuous moments. As Daisy and I crafted beautiful necklaces and bracelets filled with passion and excitement, we looked forward to sharing our creations with loved ones. 

But when summer arrived, everything changed. I sensed that my mother’s time was limited, and she needed me more than ever. My family and I spent countless hours at the hospital, taking turns to be by her side. During those long, precious moments while she rested or slept, I found comfort in creating bracelets. As I observed the INCREDIBLE team of dedicated nurses and doctors doing everything they could to help my mom, inspiration struck me. I wanted to give something back to them, to show my gratitude for their kindness and care. I wanted to do something that I would hope would touch them as they had done for me and my family. So, I began crafting beaded bracelets in their favorite colors, inscribed with words like “Hero,” “Love,” and “Mama.” Witnessing the tears in their eyes (or on their cheeks) when I gifted them their bracelets quickly transformed a mere hobby into something far greater-an undeniable feeling that I couldn't and didn’t want to overlook.  It became a profound calling. Since that day, I have committed myself to growing this business into something that not only inspires joy but also supports others.

Long before my mother’s illness, I grappled with insecurities, worries, and self-doubt. Throughout my school years, my learning disability and experiences of bullying skewed my perception of self-worth. It wasn’t until I had the incredible fortune of traveling the world as a model that I met my soulmate and became a mother to my beloved daughters. During this transformative period, I discovered Louise Hay’s profound book, “You Can Heal Your Life.” Something within its pages resonated deeply, shifting my perspective in ways I never imagined possible. 

Louise’s teachings on the power of affirmations and self-talk inspired me immensely, revealing how positively or negatively we speak to ourselves shapes our reality. To this day, I practice her work alongside other influences that have inspired my Affirmation Collection. This collection embodies the heart and soul of Lilje Marguerite. My commitment is to be a lifelong learner, striving to become the happiest and healthiest version of myself for my family and others. My sincere hope is that through my creations, I can inspire or help even one person to embrace their unique journey.
